Position Overview:

he Sr. Mgr. S&OP and Consolidation is responsible for driving the global performance of the Sales and Operations Planning process (S&OP) for the Business Unit Industrial (IND) by leading process improvements projects in close collaboration with the relevant Supply Chain teams. The process improvement projects are both within S&OP as well as the adjacent processes for Demand Management, Supply Planning, and Inventory Management. Furthermore, the Sr. Mgr. S&OP and Consolidation is the central resource for the BU Leadership team for all major S&OP related topics, projects, reportings and KPIs and prepares the monthly overall IND S&OP report.
This role will be based at our site in Bydgoszcz (Poland).

Tasks include:

S&OP Strategy & Improvement

➢ Define and implement S&OP (sales & operation) strategy with IND Supply Chain leaders

➢ Define S&OP strategy for IT tools and lead implementation of S&OP tools

➢ Drive S&OP KPI performance including Forecast Accuracy, Inventory stock turns, Sales Order Delivery Performance and plant Supply performance

➢ Drive maturity of the INDUSTRIAL S&OP process by leading and collaborate with Supply Chain managers and teams to achieve next Star Levels and participate in certification audits

➢ Define best practices for Demand, Supply and inventory management processes

➢ Driving standardization by developing and deploying Standard Work with the Supply Chain teams

➢ Represent and participate on behalf of IND in the TE S&OP council and Supply Chain Planning (SCP) Council 2

➢ Support development of IND and TE S&OP training programs and deployment to IND S&OP participants

➢ Drive the S&OP Process Improvement via Projects, including the Consensus Demand Creation Process and Product Segmentation

➢ Work closely with the Continuous Improvement teams to drive innovation and continuous Improvements, share best practices and drive culture of continuous improvement

➢ Participate in the SV S&OP monthly report out to support process improvements

S&OP Reporting & Consolidation

➢ Prepare monthly IND S&OP reporting including the integration of the SV S&OP reporting to IND management and stakeholders

➢ Be the go-to person for the BU Leadership team for all S&OP related topics, projects, reporting and KPI


Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, or similar
10+ years’ cross functional experience in S&OP / Supply Chain / Demand Management or related disciplines in an international organization with complex supply chain
5+ years’ experience in leading S&OP process and proven track record of driving and achieving significant process improvements
Extensive functional knowledge of planning, forecasting and related integrated supply chain areas
Experience of working in the Industrial sector, preferably in a high mix low volume environment
Experienced in leading cross functional projects and/or distributed business teams
Strong communication and presentation skills
Directs others and sets a leadership example in company change initiatives
